We were invited to run a JAMMIE Raffle at an event being held at the beautiful Holdenby House. An event for International Women’s Day that was organised by Dawn Girardi of Pegasus Lift Truck Training, with the raffle raising funds for Breast Friends Northants.
We did our shout out amongst Northants businesses and got the usual, fantastic response! We had vouchers from 17 businesses that ranged from a tearoom to a dress agency, a cleaning company to a Gut Health Specialist and a personal trainer to a shop ‘full of timeless mid-century design classics, amazing artworks, gorgeous textiles and the best in contemporary jewellery’. Two hampers, one from Hample Italian Hampers and the other from Work Place Cleaning Solutions and the raffle also got support from 2 of our 4 speakers on the evening, Hannah Ingram Moore and Lesley Clarke.
Everytime we ask, we get such a positive response and we say it every time, “we couldn’t do these raffles without everyone single one of you”.
We raised a fantastic number … (drum roll) …. £1,307, this included money raised from the auction of a laptop donated from local man Ashley Tugby – the person that won the bid and the laptop then donated the laptop to Breast Friends! How fantastic is that :-)
A great night.
