We met Spencer Contact a while ago when SCCYC were looking for a bed, we did a shout out and someone suggested we asked them if they could help. They couldn’t as all beds/furniture donated to them are immediately allocated to a client, but we kept in contact with them from that day.
This month (May) we finally got to help them out with something. Twice a year they have a Big Sale and we signed up to help them clean, clear and set up in preparation for it. We love Spencer Contact, they all care so much about the furniture they send out to clients, they say of donations that come in, “If we wouldn’t put a piece of furniture in our house then we will not accept it for anyone else.” Once they do accept something it is then fixed up and cleaned within an inch of its life :-)
