What do you do when you have local businesses donating their time and services for a raffle to raise funds for Northamptonshire Rape Crisis, but with Covid still in our lives, a raffle is just not going to work?
You look for a plan B. We were asked by a group of Northants business women to work with them on what that could be. We found Jumblebee, an online auction site that we highly recommend, so clear and easy to use, and with fantastic customer service.
We set up the auction, 27 lots, collating photos and words for each one, liaising with the businesses to get the information needed. Not sure how long the site will be accessible but here is the link if you want to take a peek: https://www.jumblebee.co.uk/northamptonshirerapecrisisauction
The auction ran for 3 weeks and through that time Julia (with her JMH hat on) created visuals, using Canva, for the 18 women involved in this fundraiser to share on their social media platforms – primarily LinkedIn.
Proud to say that the target total to raise for Northamptonshire Rape Crisis (NRC) was passed twice, we ended on a total of ÂŁ2,291 which we were very proud of :-)
