The KDPS enquired about a photowalk for one of their weekly club meetings. We met 3 weeks later for a 2 hours walk around the grounds of Delapre Abbey in Northampton. Big cameras were put down in exchange for their little ones (smart phones) and the time flew by.
Every couple of months Matthew and I meet up to chat about how things are going with our businesses. We usually use it as an excuse to try out one of the coffee shops of Northampton but this time we though we would make the most of the lovely weather and mix the chat with a PhotoWalk.
Northants lady AJ Dickens lives life to the full and is always keen to try something new, especially if its outdoors. She joined me on a PhotoWalk recently and I don’t think I have ever walked with someone who spots and hops from one photo to the other with such enthusiasm! We both learnt something new, take a look at my blog to find out more.
Artist Kerry Sage, who is based in The Sanctuary (Fine Art Studios & Gallery) in Northampton was interested in meeting with me for a PhotoWalk to get some inspiration for her abstract painting. Clipping the macro lens on to the iphone worked perfectly for her.
Like Lucy, a local student, you may take a lot of photos with a traditional DSLR camera and just want some fun exploring what the camera on your phone can do.
This was a walk in the gardens of Delapre Abbey.
A PhotoWalk is a great way of getting outdoors and looking at things with a completely different eye. Walking as a group it’s amazing what different people spot.
This was a walk with friends through a local field up to the canal.
