JAM (Julia, Ann and Mandy)
3 friends making a difference in Northampton
Back in February 2020 the three of us put our names together and made JAM :-)
Together we enjoy giving our time and expertise to help charities and good causes based in Northampton. We fit this in around our jobs and other responsibilities, so sometimes get called the “pop up fundraisers”, popping up and helping out when we can.
We now have a base in the office of Orchard Home Cleaning Ltd on Collingtree Road. If you would like to pop in and see us please call on 07887 535112 to arrange a time. We love to chat about ideas for fundraisers, to collaborate on ideas and generally chat about how we can help local.

FUNDRAISERS & EVENTS IN THE PLANNING AND ‘HELPING OUT’ DAYS:
We have Jammie Tote bags for sale now, made by Jayne Crofts of Studio 8 Embroidery. The cream bag is short handled and the black bag is long handled.
Width: 39 xm x Height: 41.5cm Width: 36.5cm x Height:41.5cm
Our plan is to give the profits from the sale of these bags to the Northampton Town Ladies Walking Football group, to buy kit for one of their teams (NTLWF are a community project that started in 2020 and is a huge success, they now have a team playing in a county league). Discussions are still being had but we hope to have things confirmed, one way or another, by middle of May.
10th – 20th May – We will be spending odd hours here and there at Spencer Contact. Helping them to get the warehouse ready for their Big Sale that starts 15th May and then helping them where we can while the sale is on.
27th May – J of JAM is taking part in the Color Obstacle Rush in Milton Keynes, raising money for KidsAid. Julia is looking for people to join her! If you’re interested drop us an email on jamhelpingout@mail.com. If you can’t sign up but would like to make a donation this is the link to the JG page, why not take a look anyway :-) https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/jamforkidsaid
14th June – We are going to be hosting a Charity Networking event in the centre of Northampton. It will be 2 hours over lunch time, we are hoping that makes things easier for people to attend, more information to come.

It’s not just about raising money for a charity, we want to raise awareness of them too and help in what ever way we can. We’ve ‘mucked in’ on a few projects, from helping to plant vegetables to litter picking after an event. We’re always happy to roll up our sleeves and help get things done.
Take a look below to see some of the work we’ve done and the charities we’ve helped.
Charities we’ve helped so far
These are some of the charities we have helped. There are links to their websites, please take a look and if you would like to support them in any way, they would love to hear from you.
Are you a charity based here in Northampton that could use our help? Let us know!

“Jammie Heroes” wanted
We can’t do what we do without help from lots of lovely businesses and individuals here in Northamptonshire. Please tap on the photos of our current heroes to find out more about them :-)
Local businesses can sponsor our events, donate towards a raffle, spread the word of an event, offer us a venue, or collaborate with us on an idea.
To be added to our gallery of “Jammie Superheroes” all we ask is that you are happy for us to make contact with you whenever we start planning a fundraiser. You can say “Yes’ or “Not this time” – up to you :-)
If you want to chat over a cuppa – and cake, we like cake – just get in touch.
