The #JMHColourPhotoChallenge has just finished its 3rd month. March was all about spotting the colour GREEN while out and about in our everyday. There is a collection from me, with a few words about the photo and this month photos from 9 lovely local business owners.
I love this, its what I wanted to happen, we all walk around with our ‘little cameras’, so why not use them for a bit of fun.
If you haven’t got involved yet, do, its just for fun. Its a bit of a challenge that gives a walk a purpose, it gets you looking at things much closer than you maybe normally do.
It may encourage your family to head outdoors with you, if they don’t usually, worth a try!
As some of you may know, I run and the canal is one of my spots. Cant help looking at all the boat names as I go past. I’ve spotted a few ‘business’ canal boats moving around the waters and like the idea of this one being linked to a Punch & Judy show.
Sometimes you need to raise your camera up and see what it sees that you cant. These little mossy dots were on the top of a wall, I think there is something magical about them.
Green in Scarborough
Walking around Scarborough with friends recently I saw this lovely old building being partly used by a hairdresser. What a lovely, classic green they have painted their frontage.
Yellow Dot on a Tree
Why is there a yellow dot on this tree? I have seen a red dot on a tree before. Looked on line and apparently dots on trees are usually “harvesting” marks. Not sure what this one means as different companies used different colours but it could mean cut, leave or thin. Hope its not cut.
School Dinners don’t Change!
I left school over 30 years ago and recently went back for a school reunion. Look at this dinner we were given as part of our G&T Tasting Experience – the foods worse than when we were there! Happy to say that the G&T’s were good though.
I turned 50 this month.
Miniatures for Time For You
Time For You (Northants) is one of my regular clients and was one of my first. I ordered some miniature props this month to use in their photos. A bit fiddly to work with, but fun.
Photoshoot with Georgie Dog
This was fun, a photoshoot with Georgie Dog. With a friend, I carried a green chair and green blanket and we got Georgie Dog posing! Look at her, she is loving it.
This is a walk I do locally to me, had to take a photo of the first bluebells just starting to show their little faces, cant wait to see them all open.
Here are GREENS sent in from some lovely JMH friends – 9 of you this month.
I hope you will have join us in the month of April which is all about YELLOW.
Happy Snapping everyone.
